Our story began after a church youth service during a late-night stop at Denny’s with friends. What started as playful teasing—Yves calling Marcy “Marcia”—quickly turned into laughter and an unexpected connection.

In the summer of 2017, our friendship truly took root when Marcy helped with a project at Yves’ family business. We spent long days together running errands, grabbing lunch, and talking late into the night. Somewhere between those ordinary moments, we began sharing our dreams, our hopes for the future, and the kind of faith and love we wanted in a marriage.

What drew us together was more than just chemistry. We were grounded in a shared love for God. Marcy admired Yves not only for his humor and dimples, but for his unwavering faith and godly character. Yves was drawn to Marcy’s heart, her values, and her desire to grow spiritually. Our morals aligned, and our connection felt intentional and rooted in faith.

As our relationship grew, we walked through seasons that tested us deeply. From family health struggles and the uncertainty of the pandemic, to the loss of loved ones, we learned what it meant to truly support one another. In those moments, love looked like patience, compassion, and simply showing up. It was during these difficult seasons that we knew we wanted to spend our lives together.

Today, our life together is filled with joy, laughter, and shared passions—from frozen yogurt dates and Disneyland trips, to serving at church, building our careers, gaming together, and collecting Funko Pops and Pokémon cards. We protect our relationship, choose each other daily, and continue to grow side by side.

As we begin this next chapter, our hope is that our marriage reflects the love God has for His bride—a love that is faithful, nurturing, and enduring. We pray to build a marriage deeply rooted in faith, one that continues to grow, flourish, and bear good fruit.
